My Story
I, Marie Holliday, Published Author of the book title “Awake” Financial Freedom, founded my company Parriss & Associate Resource Center in 2001 in Atlanta, Georgia. I will provide a description of services provided under my company from 2001 to current. As an expert in Program Development from 2001 to 2020, I guided the agency towards initial licensure, certification and prepared the agency for audits by regulatory bodies. I guided the agency to obtain facility licensure to operate an Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program and to become a Licensed DWI provider. I developed the agency strategic business plan and was tasked to ensure the agency was in compliance with all State licensure statutes and regulations, as stipulated in the contract between Parriss & Associate Resource Center and the agency.

As a “DOT” Qualified Substance Abuse Professional I evaluate employees who have violated a DOT drug and/or alcohol regulation and make recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow up testing and aftercare. As a SAP I use the FMCSA Commercial Driver’s License Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse database as required by 49 CFR Part 40, to report specific information about a CDL driver’s Return-To Duty activities. This database provides real time information about CDL driver drug and alcohol program violations, making it difficult for drivers to conceal these violations from current or prospective employers.
As a Professional Business Coach, I Marie Holliday, LCAS, MS, MAC, CEAP, SAP, started providing
Business coaching services to clients in 2001. I continue to help clients to change in the way they wish and help them go in the direction they want to go. My coaching sessions will support clients at a specific level in achieving an identified goal, as indicated in the strategic business plan. Each coaching session will build awareness, empower choice and lead to change. The primary focus of each coaching session will be to focus on helping clients to unlock their own potential, by assisting the customer to identify goals and measurable objective on the strategic business plan. Simply put, coaching involves the belief that people have the answers to the questions they are seeking within them, the role of the Professional Business Coach is to simply help the person to unlock those answers.
